This book is in many senses of the word a remix. First of all, it is so because several of the chapters originate from previously published journal articles that I have revised to fit the grander framework of a book. Secondly, however, it is also a remix in the somewhat less acknowledged sense that the contributions to any creative output by necessity comes from a multitude of sources, and depend on context and culture. Just because my name is on the cover by no means mean that I was alone to produce the text or the ideas it describes. In this case, firstly, I wish to express my gratitude to all the (mostly) anonymous peers that have reviewed the preceding articles as well as journal editors. They have all contributed to increase the quality of my statements and the coherence of my arguments.
