The second annual conference on the human factor in cybercrime was organized in
October 2019 in The Netherlands. During this three day small-scale conference
many well-known international researchers presented their latest work on the human
factor in cybercrime. The small scale of the conference enabled us to make all sessions
plenary. This resulted in lively discussions of the presented research and very
useful feedback for the presenters. A large selection of the presented work is
included as chapters in this book. This collection of chapters represents the state of
the art of research on The Human Factor in Cybercrime. All chapters are based on
high quality empirical research and contain a variety of disciplines and theoretical
and methodological approaches, all related to human factors in cybercrime.
